Time is fleeting but photographs preserve the legacy. Regardless of the season you are in, whether your littles are adorably tiny, or all grown, this time in your life deserves to be captured by something other than your iPhone. Photographing families was created from past wedding couples asking me to document their growing families and now it’s become my absolute honor.

Photographs are a vessel to travel back in time to remember the beauty of that moment. You are investing in heirlooms that’ll transport you back to how you felt that day.

Let's plan a day, pick a meaningful location, and create images that will adorn your walls for years to come.

FAQ

My preference is to photograph outdoors but for newborn sessions, I typically will photograph in my client’s home. I also have spaces in my home we can utilize as a studio if needed. In your initial consultation, we will discuss locations for your session, though it can depend heavily on the season we are in and the weather. If you choose an outdoor session and there is inclement weather, we either use the rain date planned or reschedule.

Where do Sessions take place?

questions —

The sooner the better! Our weekend availability is limited - especially during the summer and fall, so the sooner you reach out to us, the more likely you are to get your desired date!

To reserve your date, we'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let us know!

How far in advance should we book?

questions —

A pre-session prep guide that includes an extensive outfit suggestion guide with tips for every family member is sent out upon booking and a wardrobe consultation is also offered as part of your session cost. Not only that but I have Pinterest boards for you to look at and I'm more than happy to send custom mood boards with direct links for outfits.

What should we wear?

questions —

I promise we'll capture your love and true personality in your images. I focus on showcasing emotion through your session through movement and gentle posing.

Don't worry about your children, more often than not kids want to play. This means lots of interaction with mom and dad, playing games, eskimo kisses, and more. The key is to relax, let them be silly, and be present in the moment.

We're awkward and our kids don't sit still.

questions —

Within three weeks of your session you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.

The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors.
