Sometimes a business branding session brings back all my childhood dreams! When I was a little girl, I had so many plans for who I wanted to be when I grew up and one of the things I wanted to do was work in a floral shop. I wanted to design gorgeous floral arrangements that would brighten people’s days, fill people with love, and fill rooms with the sweet smell of timeless beauty. Well, I didn’t become a florist but I did make one of my other dreams come true when I became a photographer and, even though the majority of my clients are wedding couples and families, I do love the occasional business branding session to0—especially when that branding session involves my second favorite thing, flowers! Meet Saffron & Grey

Saffron & Grey Couture Floral Design is a full service florist, proudly specializing in weddings, events, and daily floral. Each custom-made arrangement reflects their quirky, natural and uncontrived aesthetic and contains only the freshest, most premium florals.

I’ve done quite a few business branding sessions with Layla from Saffron & Grey now and I’m blown away with her natural talent and total knack for creating absolutely stunning art with flowers. Layla has been certified in European floral design from Boerma Institute of the Netherlands, she attends twice yearly intensives at the MSP Institute of Floral Design, and continues to travel around the United States for floral workshops.

Seriously, she is AMAZING! And not only that, she’s really NICE, too! She’s funny and down-to-earth and she makes people feel good, just by being herself.

Not only have I had the opportunity to work on some blow-your-mind weddings with Saffron & Grey, but I’ve been living my dream of being surrounded by beautiful flowers by taking photographs of arrangements and products for their website and social media. This has ranged from the fall arrangements that are perfect to put on your Thanksgiving table, to holiday arrangements, to getting all the googly heart eyes while photographing their recent arrangements for Valentine’s Day!
