A perfect Summer night for a Minneapolis Engagement Session. Karina & Gavin are a sweet couple who wanted a casually styled engagement session. We started out with a few appetizers and incredible drinks from Aster Cafe. As the sun set and dreamy light showed up, we headed out on a casual stroll through iconic St. Anthony Main for their Minneapolis engagement session. These two are getting married in July at the Mill City Museum. They are sure to have an incredible wedding and I can’t wait to share more!

This is one of my favorite images of these two. They even bought matching Birkenstocks because Karina is from Norway, and loves that Birkenstocks are an American trend.

I just love this one. These two light up around each other and through out their session there was no shortage of smiles, laughter, and absolute joy. One of my favorite parts of engagement sessions is that it gives us time to get to know one another. They always help to build a connection to truly get genuine emotion in your photographs. It also helps the wedding day to feel smooth and natural, since besides your spouse, you typically spend the most time with your photographer on your wedding day.
